Fukuoka, JAPAN (Oct 07, 2020) – Panasonic i-PRO Sensing Solutions Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that i-PRO's new Fukuoka headquarter office received the "Kyushu-Okinawa New Office Encouragement Prize" at the "33rd Nikkei New Office Award" organized by Nikkei Inc. and the New Office Promotion Association (NOPA) to honor a creation of comfortable and functional "new office" through creativity and ingenuity in August 2020. The awards ceremony was held on October 6th.
At the Nikkei New Office Award, a variety of points of view are taken into account in the selection process. For example, whether the workplace is a comfortable, functional, and spiritually comfortable place for workers to live, an environment that induces work styles that enhance creativity, a place for intellectual production activities that utilize IT, consideration is given to social aspects such as the impact on the global environment and contributions to local communities, a system for building and maintaining offices that incorporates facility management (FM) methods, and whether knowledge assets and information are properly managed and operated.
As a new company, management issues such as "Always deliver new solutions" "strengthen interorganizational cooperation" and "Make society aware of i-PRO, the new company" were considered. As a measure to realize the potential needs of the market, eliminate organizational barriers, demonstrate our collective strength, and raise awareness, we launched i-PRO Fukuoka Office Renewal Project and decided to renovate our office in order to create an office that is easy for everyone to work in. The ideal image for the new office was defined as "office where people can interact naturally", "office capable of promoting business growth and human resource development", and "office where people think 'I want to work here!'". It was decided on the concept of "workplace where advanced technologies are combined to protect a safe and secure society with one team - Office that brings a sense of unity -", and the office construction and relocation were completed in only four months, and the new office started in January 2020.
In this new workplace, we i-PRO have become “One Team” that brings together our advanced technologies and continue to contribute even more to the realization of a society where people can enjoy themselves with smiles through safety and security initiatives.
